Thank you for expressing an interest in the opportunities available at Livv Housing Group.  We are looking for experienced candidates for our Audit and Risk Committee and our Business Development, Growth & Investment Committee who will offer clear, consistent and informed guidance to support our business aims and objectives.  

The business has been through significant change over the last 2 years including a new Group Chief Executive, a new governance structure, group rebrand and introduction of a new 3-year corporate plan.  Our Executive team and Board have worked collaboratively to achieve these important key milestones whilst also successfully navigating our way through a difficult regulatory landscape.

This successful collaboration will continue with the implementation of the strategic objectives set out in our corporate plan.  The future will see us investing in our current and developing new homes, supporting people, communities and businesses to grow and develop.  We have the foundation and plans for success and we are looking for Independent Committee Members to join our Committees and provide professional guidance and direction.  Your ability to understand our business and to bring constructive challenge to the Executive and Leadership Teams will be essential.

We are looking for individuals who can understand the scope of the group’s activities and govern these effectively, whilst also having a clear focus on the social housing core of our business.  Both our Audit & Risk Committee and our Business Development, Growth & Investment Committee play a key part in our plans for the future so it is important that we bring on board people with the right skills and experience to support our vision.  If you are interested in joining our Audit & Risk Committee you will need a strong background in strategic risk management, regulatory frameworks and compliance.  If you are looking to join our Business Development, Growth & Investment Committee we are looking for people to support our future growth ambitions, who are able to assess a range of investment opportunities with strategic oversight to growth initiatives and decision making.

You don’t have to have a housing background but to succeed in the role you will need to be able to identify the current and emerging challenges facing housing organisations.

Thank you for your interest in the board level opportunities that are currently available within Livv Housing Group. 

As a business our mission is clear – to have a positive impact on people’s lives and to deliver a quality housing offer to our customers. This is a unique opportunity for the right person to join us at board/committee level and play a key part in delivering the success in Knowsley that our Borough has planned, alongside creating opportunities for the people, communities and businesses of Knowsley and beyond.

The last 18 months has seen the business make significant progress in our drive to simplify our group structure and put housing services at the real core of the group.  Our current board has been in place for nearly 18 months and their professional guidance and challenge has played a fundamental part in our journey to date.  We have delivered a full group governance restructure, transitioned to a new brand and launched our new corporate plan – all of which has been underpinned by the strength and support of our board and committees.  

There is an abundance of opportunities which lie ahead for Livv Housing Group – and we are an ambitious bunch - so it is vital that we have the right blend of skills, experience, curiosity    and commitment within our board structure to realise our ambitions.

We are looking for individuals who have senior level experience and an understanding of the social housing sector. That may be within it, or associated with it, but you will have some knowledge of what we do and why we do it. If you are interested in joining our Audit and Risk committee you will need a strong background in strategic risk management, audit functions and a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance. For our Business Development, Growth & Investment committee we need people with expertise in business growth or development, as well as experience with strategic growth decision making in a commercial environment.  To be successful you will need a real commitment to nurture, develop and grow our business, and most importantly you will truly want to play your part in supporting our drive to have a ‘positive impact and develop flourishing communities’.
